AYO FAYOSE TO RESUME TRIALS ON 21ST OCTOBER OVER ALLEGED #6.9bn FRAUD

Ayo Fayose, The former governor of Ekiti state will resume his trial on October 21 in the presence of a Federal High Court in Lagos.


He is being charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Comission (EFCC) for over 6.9billion naira fraud and money laundering accusations.
Fayose was firstly summoned to court on October 22, 2018, in the presence of Justice Mojisola Olatotegun together with a company on 11 counts which was based on fraud and money laundering crimes.


Though, the former governor of Ekiti state pleaded not guilty to the accusations and was granted bail on October 24, 2018.There have been so many adjourning of the case concerning Ayo Fayose's alleged N6.9bn fraud.
However, the Fayose's case will now resume on October 21.

The Federal Ministry of Communications (FMC) has frowned at wrongful profiling of young Nigerians with computing devices like laptops, tablets etc by security agencies. The Minister of Communications, Isa Pantami disclosed this in a statement signed on Tuesday by spokesperson Uwa Suleiman. He also admonished security agencies to be circumspect and exercise restraint from such.
