HOW TO AVOID JOB INTERVIEW SCAMS...

Good day all,

As we all know, getting a good job in Nigeria is difficult and draining as there are little or no quality jobs available. The few known ones have been hijacked by people of power, class and connections living us with minimal jobs.
Despite that itsi always wise to keep hope alive and that is why I have decided to share few ways one can detect job scams.
As we all know desperate job seekers are usually the targets of this job scammers because, at that point we are not just seeking for jobs but not thinking properly because of our needs.
Here are a few tips
1. Research: when going for job interviews, its advised that you do a little background check on the organisation so as not to fall victim of both fraud and kidnapping. You can Google the company name, ask a friend or just ask via Twitter or Facebook trust me, people would be willing to help.
2. Don't disclose vital information about yourself: it's common for most sites to give you a form to fill as they use it in match making and profiling. In all, it's necessary not to put in certain details like you8 BVN or card pins.
3. Don't apply for every job: some might oppose me on this but before you start just listen to what I have to say. There are certain jobs that are not worth your time, like there are job openings you see via social media and by the time you go through the comments, the negative reviews are way more than the positive, becareful of such.
Secondly, an organisation that always has opening are usually toxic. People are not always willing to stay.
4. Don't attend or reply an interview you didn't apply for: many times, people get messages from employers who just ask them to come for an interview the next day. My advice is if you didn't apply for the job, don't go. The country isn't safe. I personally have gotten a message from someone who said he served with me. According to him there was a job opening and he put in my name so his uncle can help, I should bring something to facilitate blah blah blah. Fortunately for me, I had the said number of the guy cause the name was familiar and called just for him to debunk it. My point is they can even use a name you know.

If you have any other tips you can share in the comment sections. Thanks y'all
